idol fever recovered

well i have supported jon right from the start when i heard his rendition of 'save the last dance for me'. kinda sad, he din win. i felt he should.
well to begin with this guy's got lotsa charisma.. that's his winning point in the competition. some may not feel he looks fantastic (actually in my opinion he's cute) but he's got that kind of personality that draws you to him :0)
also i feel that he has all the essence of a singaporean. he's a walking singaporean identity. send him out to other countries, tell the people he is singapore idol, they'll take to him immediately. the looks, the charm, the character, it all swirls up to one great sensation that can represent many aspects of singapore.
not to mention his amazing stage presence. he practically catches and holds your attention even if it were drifting around your head. i think he's a natural onstage. the stage belongs to him when he sings. not stiff, or awkward. (another stagey guy would be paul :p)
and, of course, that unique voice. with all these in one dose, there's your ideal singapore idol.
ah well, what's the use? hady's won. but yes he has a really good voice and he's cute in his way :0) i just hope he will not disappear into other markets and lose the singapore identity that he's crowned for. he can go really far with that voice. it may not be as unique as jon's, but it definitely has quality.
i hope jon goes far too :0) i'll support him all the way! and hady do us proud. just open your mouth and there you go :D
