geek in the pink

so ends the annual (monetary) blessings that my relatives shower on me so that i can smile upon my bank account book like it were a joke book.

on tuesday had a great time at rachel's house with fruit basket! there was this huge shared garden in front of her house in which we played (or tried to, in my case) vball. bad idea cos the ball found its way to the rooftop of rachel's neighbour's house, and superman nicholas had to climb onto rachel's roof and walk across 3 roofs (rooves?) to get it. naughty sherman. i mean ball.

we had a garden dinner on a wooden bench under the light of a lampost, and by 7.30+ i was beginning to mistake my potatoes for chicken. and rachel's an UBERRRR cook! we had devil's curry, chap chai (?) and... RICE. all cooked by rachel. dessert was tiramisu, which was heavenly. rachel made it, by the way. she'd better make it again. HAHA

watched some of "little britain", and laughed till my tiramisu almost came up. then went to the playground where i swung the swing! missed those things since my playground got renovated.

nic inevitably played superman AGAIN by flying off the swing. LOL. ok ok not his fault the swing broke. but he was swinging so high he was (we were) counting the number of leaves he could pluck of this tree using his 2 feet. we never managed beyond 3. luckily for him he landed on some bushes. his wrist got swollen though, quite bad :P

scary. one minute the man of steel was swinging alongside me picking leaves. the next he was gone, the swing was broken and there was chaos. gave him an ice pack to reduce the swelling. get well!

today was at vivo. we shopped around for verine's shoelaces and bigben's green cap, which was non-existant. shared a merlion at ben&jerry's while trying to MAKE ben wear the pink shirt. HAHA. fengyun rachel and i created this huge hulabaloo to get him to wear it. in the end i lured him with a treat at pepper(s)lunch, quote quote.

that got it!!!! after 7 long days of my hard work he wore his lovely shirt at this ulu place near boon keng mrt. yes! ben in PINK!!!

i can hereby declare myself the impossible do-er.

vDay :D

lazy day today. i think from the excitement yesterday everyone kinda tired out and decided to be sane.

yay! i think i was like the happiest single on vday. gave out chocolates and notes to everyone :0) HERSHEYS! but they ran out so i gave vanhouten napolitains.

so happily went to school, gave out presents, and received a lot :D thanks all! COGmate verine gave 2 little fishies in a bottle, i was like 0.o hahas but really liked them they're uber cute. thanks baobei. but i dun have FISH FOOD. shall go buy.

school was fun cos they sold these helium balloons and we could scribble messages on them. there was this song dedication thing, sale of badges, and flowers were flying all over the place. i think like no one was in the mood for studying.

then went out with 1/3 og to marina square! fruit basket left us to go shopping :0( we went bowling.. again!! chooyan brought chocs to share and i ate a lot a lot :P thanks chooyan! i ate one and i got a strike, so i made it a point to take a bite before my turn :D partly why i ate so much of them.

after that went for dinner at food court. bigben kept whispering to yanqi just to suan me. then he realised it worked super well so he began whispering to gladys too. and none of them wanted to tell me wat he said! pfft. as punishment i made yanqi carry my bottle of fish for me for about half an hour cos i din dare put it in my bag. DUH.

made everyone wait for me after dinner cos i wanted to buy my mum a present. then gladys, chooyan, bigben and i took 857 (or 875) home from suntec. my mum was kinda pissed cos it was getting late, so throughout the journey i kept asking:

"are we there yet? are we there yet?? are we there YET?"

bleh. but gladys and bigben were nice to walk me all the way to the bridge, after which they had to u-turn and walk further to go home :0)

the highlight of the day was all of us trying to make him wear the pink shirt. failed, though :P at the bridge he said he would wear it for one second since hardly anyone was around. then i was about to take it out and place my order for his dinner treat when gladys cried out that he was going to grab the shirt and run. CONMAN. i kept it.

pre-valentine's

yay slacking at home now with nothing to do. yet.

feeling prickly cos its valentine's day the day after tmr! got to get my butt up and about buying presents :D fun thing, really looking forward to it.

will miss valentine's at sc. last year got this huge load of presents i had to lug home from school! hahas and i felt really really bad cos i didn't expect so many, and therefore didn't buy so many. in the end i bought last-minute chocolates to give out late :P

no potluck for jc though. in a gurl's school we could buy items like bracelets and sweet little keychains. in jc imagine if such presents ended up with guys! haven't really got used to having guys in school yet. i rmb on the 2nd day of school our principal was reading out school rules and said that we could come back to school on saturdays in either our skirts or pants and a tee. and so i blurted:

"WHAT? you mean we can wear our pants to school? like bermudas?"

it never occured to me then that she was addressing the guys. so MALUATING! i could feel all the guys within a 2-metre radius from me staring like i was some crackpot.

ok. shall get my sweet tush up and running, gonna get presents now. really looking forward to vday with my OG and CG :D who said singles were lonely on valentine's day??

hummm

phew. this is gonna be a rather looonngggg post cos bong hasn't been blogging in a while :0)

i'm happy with my O's :D and i'm really really proud of nessa.. 7A1s!!!!! you go gurl! proud of yeng yie too, 9A1s! OMG. and kim, 6 pointer. nic and nic, fellow 7 pointers. really happy for vic, a huge jumper from prelims :0) 9 points!! great day friday.

anw wanna go hwa chong. love SA, but wanna go hwa chong. so i'm making full use of my next 3 weeks there. gonna miss my OG and CG :P real bad.

been enjoying jc like crazy with crazy lessons and a crazy OG. and i found out that i like econs a lot! yay. i'm crazy.

so OG went to sentosa on last last saturday, and we had a BLAST! the whole purpose had been to celebrate all the febbies' burfdaes - chloe, jingfeng, nezz - but we kinda off-tracked cos nezz couldn't come, jingfeng had to leave early and only chloe stayed for cake. AWESOME cake thanks to chooyan, gladys and denice :D

LONELYYYY.. XD

hahas been having a wonderful time. last thurs went to a movie at night with rachel, verine, joash, nic and sherman. a HORROR movie. i was lagged in screaming cos i was cowering under rachel's sweater, and then when i heard everyone alse screaming, i looked up, saw a white-faced-red-eyed creature and THEN i screamed 5 seconds behind everyone else.

wow. and nic played macho by stripping to his tank top and lending me his sweater when rach wanted hers back :D and he swore to the roots of his goosepimples that he was NOT freezing. yeah right, nic, but thanks :0)

after that we went to a nearby playground (!!) to play like big kids deprived of childhood. there was this thing that we could sit and and go rounnnddd and rounnndddd, and we rode it till we were high and dizzy! hahas.

dear macho nic climbed to the roof of the playground and declared himself superman, and RIGHT at that moment sherman screamed like a banshee for help cos the roundabout was too fast for him, so nic shouted; "I'M COMING TO THE RESCUE!!!!" and a second later he landed BAM splat on the ground. LOL niiccceeeee.

there's nic right up there with his white sweater and invisible underpants.

hahas. oh by the way i made this big bet with bigben... i'm gonna make him wear pink by the end of 2 weeks!!!! YES. he is gonna buy me dinner if he loses and i'm gonna buy him drinks if he can withstand my onslaught. WATCH OUT BEN! tough guys wear pink, believe it or not. if you wanna be a tough guy meet me now to get your shirt. NOW.
