burfdae mine!

thank you to all and all and ALL for the fantastic burfdae! :D

sunday was an uberr day, with bigben, arthur, wang, joshua and serene who sang the day away with me. feiyuqing wannabe was on the loose again! this time it was recorded on video.. beware! had a great time duet-ing with arthur again, and also formed a new alliance with bigben as my song partner :D

and and AND i can hereby declare myself a passably competent chinese-songs-singer! take that, chinese songs.

yichun came down after the kbox session with this enormous chocolate cake (AHH!) that we tried to finish (but failed, so the rest went to ME! muahahaha). thank you guys SO much, that day meant a lot to me :0)

monday was no less fun! (excluding the lessons.) had a special kick-start with a huge baked potato with chicken and bacon bits, breakfast treat from audrey. i had 2 big fat cakes, one from natascha and one from 07a11. chocolate and cookies&cream! then i was given this adorably adorable balloon with SPONGEBOB on it! spent the day with it floating beside my head, onto my head as well as into others' heads XD

best part was the company of all my bestest frens, vanessa okiku hubby kim, the lovely warm huggs and the wishes, they made my day complete. and specially to victoria, who came down and wished me happy burfdae.

really miss having at least one of you guys beside every minute, especially nessa, bestie for 9 years and running, its weird not turning around and seeing you there :P but thank you guys for the effort to make my burfdae memorable, it worked!

then at home my family had yet another cake for me.. a mixed fruit cake with strawberries, raspberries, mango, kiwifruit and other yummylicious goodies :D they don't read my blog, but yeah, THANK YOU FAMILY! lol.

this year made the same wish over 4 different delicious cakes (record!), so pray that it comes true :D

speaking of cake reminds me of the upcoming NAPFA test. not only have i turned 17 and be expected more of my physical fitness (THERE'S A GRAMMATICAL ERROR HERE, I JUST KNOW THERE IS), i have stuffed myself silly with cake cake and more CAKE. yay and sigh. i'm about as conditioned as a peach tart.

nonetheless, absolutely no regrets :0)

10 things i like about hwachong

1. there is HIPHOP. nothing beats a funky cca :D

2. the whole class-bench-dump-our-bags-and-chat idea. its a nice cosy arrangement for classes.

3. 07a11! nothing beats a funky cca like a funkier class.

4. the fact that my bestest frens are there.

5. the fact that my bestest frens still give me huggs that warm me to my toes.

6. the fact that my bestest frens still chill out together after school.

7. my bestest frens.

8. the fact that njc is opposite so i can launch a missile to ivana and declare world war 3 when i'm bored in class.

9. they sell SUSHI. YES. i am hereby saved from must-eat-sushi-or-die attacks during school.

10. $1 hotdogs on tuesdays! yay. cheapskate.

still suffering from SARS - SA Removal Syndrome. no cure for that, but i can still try to move on with it. though i still get slumpy and grumpy when i think of og2.

been in rather high spirits for the past week though, thanks to someone :0) thanks for being so understanding, knowing that i can't go out often, can't chat often, whether on the phone or online. you're sorely missed, just know that okay :0)

dear vic, was great chatting the cows home with you today. miss you toooooooo, huggs and cya soon alrites :D

dear rox, miss you to cookie crumbs. let's go out again ok?? its an order. muahaha.

darnit, wanna go out. i shall blast myself out of my house.

OG BBQ!

to put it short, missing SA.

OG2 bbq yesterday! met deNice and amelia at 4, then went to shop for sausages and honey (!). then we made our way together to yanqi's house. we were the first!

so while waiting three of us hit the playground where denice happily unloaded 10 years off herself and began to jeopardize the functioning of the playground equipment along with her sanity. then the rest came and we all began to set up the stuff.

GRR. spilt honey on my white tennis dress while trying to open the bottle. i was winning so the honey decided to get back at me.

thank you gladys and chooyan (AGAIN) for the lovely cake! it was super yummy! thanks for the burfdae dessert :D

after stuffing ourselves silly with cake most of them headed for home. gladys, ben, chooyan and i stayed while i coaxed yanqi to bring home the leftover inedibles. it worked! thanks yanqi :0)

finally went home with gladys and ben. of all times the bus conductor came up and wanted to check all our ezlink cards, and when i took mine out, ben tried to snatch mine away to see my photo (ARGH!).

the sweet lady conductor came and saw our tussle, so after testing my card she decided to examine my P6 self, and she chortled at my pic XP when my card finally ended up with ben he totally laughed.. thanks a lot! gladys laughed too.. i shall remember that.

will continue to miss OG2 till our next meeting.

bittersweet

okay. my mind is in a roller coaster now. super super happy to be in hwachong and join vanessa, okiku, nicHubby and kim. totally crushed to leave og2 and a05 and all the lovely things that made up my 2 months in SA.

well. have to move on. but that doesn't mean leaving all u guys behind :0) we can all move on together.

today met okiku and meiying at the bus stop and okiku brought us in :0) thanks so much! would be really lost without that.

reported to LT4 and froze there for hours while teacher after teacher blabbed about everything academic in hc. hm, ok not almost, since there's more tmr. sigh.

mass dance saved the day though! we learnt 3 of the 5 hc dances.. the 3 easier ones. okiku said the remaining 2 were more exciting, and we're learning them tmr :D can't wait!

so today's orientation is so dry i can't say much. hopefully tmr's will be funner. got games!

after school i made new friends through nic and kim, and they showed me their facs' dances at the class bench area. they were all really funky, hope to learn my fac dance soon. WAH miss SA's indian dance it was really cute.. the fac dances here are all hiphop oriented. not that i'm complaining, haha.

i seriously want to get into MAD hiphop. i shall get myself back into shape. meanwhile i'll just be missing SA like crazy and trying to go back to visit as and when. all my frens and victoria :D

beary belated burfdae wishes

HAPPY BELATED BURFDAES TO MARGARET, BIGBEN AND DENICE!!

had fun with ben, fengyun, denice, joshua, wang and arthur last sat :0) treated the burfdae boy to pepperlunch, true to my royal word.

met at pepperlunch at shawhouse. fengyun denice and i were walking from the underpass up to the restaurant and were standing right in front of the huge menu to choose our food and assure my wallet that everything was going to be okay. then this guy sitting next to the menu called out a somewhat subdued "fengyun!"

wow. we walked right past bigben without knowing that it was him. (it's the cap's fault!)

in the middle of lunch rachel and verine popped by to give him his present - a HUGE bottle of sweets! isn't that sweet?? haha.. sweet.

went kbox after parting with verine and rach, and met arthur there. cos everyone there sang chinese songs like last time, i learnt chinese songs.. whoo! ben imitated feiyuqing super duper well HAHA everyone was laughing their heads off. and we all drained kbox of about 12 bowls of those kacham-puteh peanuts! yay.

had to leave early to lou hei with my family, but thanks you guys for the fun day :D
