tdae was self-owning day for me.
we had half day, cos our track and field team got triple-champs again!!! when the announcement was made the whole school exploded in an uproar, all over the entire school compound cos it was announced over the PA system just before lessons started.
lessons? i had CT and then pe before i was dismissed at 11am :D -looks smug-
dragged okiku, hubby, ezra, carlos and kelvin downtown to have lunch at taka kfc, cos i had cravings for zinger and cheese fries since yesterday :P and i paid by totally embarrassing myself (hubby note: spelt with
a) not once, but TWICE, falling for the same trick! o.O
no thanks again to ezra, who made me believe that ice+macs garlic chilli = exothermic reaction. i happily put my hand above the disgusting mass to see if my hand would bake over it (and to huff at ezra that it definitely wouldn't), and stupid guy smacked my hand onto the lot.
just after i swore i would never touch macs garlic chilli again in my life, carlos started putting this ultra-shocked look on his face and said "OMG BONG you're so dead! do you know
how SMELLY that is??!! it's damn smelly la, your hand will smell bad for a super long time!!" and i happily sniffed at my hand.
no prizes for guessing who had to go wash her face after that. and who spent the rest of the day smelling invisible chilli sauce and swearing off all kinds of macs chilli for the rest of her life.
and who would grab 5 macs chilli packets for her fries next time a craving hollers at her door.
after that went to get nat's present and forced our way into heather's house again :D had a great lazy 2 hours chatting, gossiping, and singing while ezra played the piano. nice lazy afternoon for a nice lazy day :0)
thanks heather AGAIN for letting us into your house, knowing that you could sooner and safer let in a bunch of mad sheep (dun ask me why sheep, it was the first thing that came to my head). or mabbe mad hippopotami.
HAPPY BURFDAE NATTY! :D huggs

seniors' farewell
farewell last nite was uberr fun! heather was so nice to provide her house for MAD farewell, knowing full well it could be 80+++ people wreaking havoc in it. ah well, only about 40+ turned up, but thanks anyway :D
passing on was funny, we bestowed titles on every senior. ainan looked apprehensive about being dubbed Mr Romeo, even though he can rattle off shakespearean lines like his abc's o.O while people like me didn't even know Hamlet was written by shakespeare. sigh.
watched sawI with everyone else who packed themselves into the cosy TV room in the dark and fought for cushions or
something (like another person) to fend ourselves against an evil, creepy non-existant puppet. i was the proud owner of about 10 screams, no thanks to ezra who shouted "BOO" at one point when the screen was black. (that was also one less proud owner of a cushion after she lost it to ezra's head.)
we had a disco nite thingy, tho well dancing wasn't really choreo-ed on the spot. hit the lights (which some people had covered with red cellophane paper) and we all jus gathered round to cheer the lovelies on the floor. did the ares, apollo and artemis fac dances, some dancenite items and the bboys spun their stuff as usual. the seniors ROCKED, and still rock :D hopefully juniors can reach their standard by next year :P
thanks to all the seniors who came, it was a great nite. hope they liked it :0)
performance at orchard road youth park later at 3.45 and 5pm, OMG. hope we can pull it off, we had so little practice this week on this one. 3 gurls less for tdae's performance too, pfft. plus my aunt is going to pack her 2 kids and her vidcam to make sure every move is captured for my mum to see (her 2 kids are the reporters).
leaving in 5 mins to cut my hair, it always comes loose halfway during items when i tie it up. please don't make this one another headful disaster :P

hiphop sabbats
i am really really so tired, but i am seriously having the fun of my life! lol only dance can do that.
had hiphop sabbaticals on weds and thurs.. and our instructor was COOL! funny guy that can do every style of hiphop from break to lyrical, gosh.
on weds we had old school, so all the popping and locking left my muscles weak and jelly-ish by the time i got home. no prizes for guessing how our popping king sijin did.. IMBA :D he was popping away like popcorn and all of us around him wanted to throttle him, lol.
we did other old school stuff we never knew existed, like stop-and-go (the only thing i can decently pull off), around the world, and the scooby-doo which only the guys could do without looking like, well, scooby-doo trying to dance. we did baby freezes too.. loved that! XD hubby really almost got it.. jiayou!
thursday we did sth that i could do much much better.. new school! loved the lyrical routine to mariah carey's without you and the mtv-cum-whacking routine to some super cool song i dunno. hubby, nicT and i realised that our style was a lot of lyrical and mtv, and whacking for me cos i uberrrr enjoyed whacking :0)
'cher taught us milking too, and body waves in every possible direction: top-bottom, bottom-top, left-right, right-left, and diagonal waves that were the absolute hardest but nicest, in my opinion :D
at the end of it all my muscles were screaming to stop, but we couldn't cos we still had volunteer's fair prac till 7pm. so basically we danced from 7am to 7pm on both days, and after reaching home i just took a bath and knocked out cold on my bed. i think mabbe hubby and nicT did too, along with all the ppl who had hiphop sabbats and VolFair item.
have yet to finish choreo-ing. only got 3 more days to teach the gurls :P argh.
keep going VolFair ppl! thanks everyone for working really hard, performance is next week so let's chiong together :D
