okiku discussed with me again the whole red tape beurocratic trash that sadly exists against MAD. and the conclusion is hilarious:
you might as well ban tennis players from the tennis court, if you want to ban dancers from using the dance studio.and usually before performances we are stranded to dance outside the audi in full view of everyone, not to mention without a mirror and rough flooring. why is it so hard for dancers to book the dance studio? last time exco could, now they only allow teachers to book so everytime we need it we have to call ms chen to do it.
they said a teacher has to be around everytime we prac in the rua. means everyday. we understand that its to ensure nothing happens to us, or if something does we'll be taken care of. but which teacher is free every single day to sit in a corner and watch us dance sometimes for more than 5 hours?
the pe studio is easily available anytime without needing a teacher. does that mean we're less prone to sustaining injuries in the pe studio than rua? and we cant always use it cos 1) we have to share usage with chinese dancers and 2) its just too small sometimes.
furthermore before dancenite they allow us to practise without a teacher, understanding that we have prac everyday. but recently we have prac everyday too, because we now have an onslaught of performances. yet its still so extremely hard to get to practise in the rua, for one reason or another.
sharon raised the issue during a cca discussion with the admin way before promos. but we havent got a word of response so far. not that we are, based on the circumstances. tho of course, it would be great if we could hear from someone regarding our situation.
sigh. tmr's another day outside the audi. hope we can cope. after all, quoting ezra, we're hoppers, street dancers, we can dance
anywhere. yay. at least our spirit keeps us going :D
